A mothjer board is the printed circuit board of a computer (PCB). It's the computer's central communications backbone connectivity point, is where all the components and the external peripherals are connected. All the components have their own slot.

The motherboard I'm using as reference is the ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI.
